Security Team Leader

As a Security Lead Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the given location, its tenants and customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Review work performance of the security team to ensure the required expectations are met daily.
• Monitor performance standards for the site daily.
• Demonstrate exceptional high levels of customer service
• Advise the Manager of stock levels and uniform requirements for the site.
• Report time keeping issues to the Manager.
• Ensure that the Manager is informed of all matters that are of interest or concern at the earliest possible opportunity.
• Demonstrate an understanding of current H&S legislation.
• Ensure that incidents are reported promptly by security officers in line with Company procedure. Ensure that the Manager is advised of all incidents.
• Ensure equipment issues are reported in a timely manner and that regular inspections are carried out.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Motivate individuals
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

• Experience of supervising a security team
• Ability to work and integrate in an already established team.
• SIA and CCTV qualified
• Knowledge of security/CCTV legislation
